Sergio Ramos Completes His Transfer To Paris Saint Germain

Sergio Ramos has joined Paris St-Germain on a free transfer from Real Madrid, according to the Ligue 1 club.

After failing to strike an agreement to extend his 16-year stint in Madrid, Ramos resigned last month.

He was instrumental in Real’s four Champions League championships and five La Liga titles.

PSG finished second in Ligue 1 last season, behind champions Lille, and were knocked out of the Champions League semi-finals by Manchester City. The 35-year-old has signed a two-year contract with the club.

In a social media post, Ramos said, “The best place to keep on dreaming, the best club to keep on winning.”

“We’re going to fight for everything with everything we’ve got.”

“Paris Saint-Germain is a club that has already shown itself at the greatest level,” he continued.

“I want to continue to grow and progress at Paris and assist the team win as many titles as possible.” The best place to keep dreaming, the best club to keep winning

We’re going to fight for anything and anything.

Greetings, @PSG_espanol!

#IciCestParis #WeAreParis — Sergio Ramos (@SergioRamos) July 8, 2021 Ramos was injured for much of the season and was left out of Spain’s Euro 2020 team, but he stated while leaving Real that he was motivated to keep establishing himself at the top.

After the acquisition of Morocco defender Achraf Hakimi from Serie A side Inter on a five-year deal, he becomes PSG’s latest addition.

Since his contract with Milan expired at the end of last season, PSG is close to signing Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma on a free transfer.
