According to Sky in Italy, Roma are in talks to recruit Manchester United left-back Alex Telles.
Telles was recruited from Porto for PS15.4 million last summer to compete with Luke Shaw at Old Trafford.
After years of inconsistency, the England international responded strongly to Telles’ arrival and produced his greatest season in a United shirt, limiting the Brazilian to just nine Premier League games.

After Leonardo Spinazzola suffered an injury while playing Italy at the European Championships, Roma, now headed by former United manager Jose Mourinho, are looking for a left-sided defender.
Spinazzola, who was named in the Euro 2020 Team of the Tournament, will miss a few months after rupturing his Achilles tendon, according to Mourinho.
0:35 Jose Mourinho has defended his Premier League record, claiming that his ‘disaster’ is far better than that of many other managers.
“We’re all sorry for losing Spinazzola for a few months, but football is football, and we have to be ready to start next week,” he said on Instagram in early July.
Telles, 28, signed a deal with United on Deadline Day in October of last year that runs through June 2024, with a 12-month extension option.
Marcus Rashford, a Manchester United and England attacker, is expected to miss the start of the season after undergoing shoulder surgery later this month, according to the PA news agency.
During the Three Lions’ march to the Euro 2020 final, the 23-year-old made five substitute appearances, hitting the post from the spot in Sunday’s penalty shoot-out loss to Italy.
Rashford, who has received a outpouring of support in the wake of some heinous abuse, is due to undergo surgery to correct a long-standing shoulder issue.
According to PA, the forward wanted the surgery done right after the Euros, but it will have to wait until later in July due to the lack of a suitable surgeon.
