According To Reports Juventus May Miss Out On A Major Transfer Target

If a deal to buy Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic is not completed this summer, Juventus may miss out.

The Serbian defender is largely considered as one of the greatest in Serie A, and has been linked with a move to Juventus in recent years.

Nikola Milenkovic’s current deal with Fiorentina has only one year left, according to Tuttomercatoweb.

The Italian club is eager to extend his contract this summer, which could jeopardize Juventus’ hopes to sign the defender.

In the summer of 2017, Fiorentina signed Nikola Milenkovic from Partizan for EUR5 million.

Milekovic became a regular starter for La Viola in his second season in Serie A after playing a minor role in his debut season.

Milenkovic has since played over 120 times for Fiorentina in all competitions, scoring 11 goals.

The Serbian has been linked with a move to Juventus in recent months, but he has also reportedly received interest from Tottenham and Manchester United.

Juventus are looking to add to their roster this summer after a disappointing 2020-21 season in which they finished fourth in Serie A.

Porto also eliminated them from the Champions League in the round of 16 round.

Juventus’ Achilles Heel towards the conclusion of the season was their midfield.

This summer, new Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri is looking to sign a top-flight midfielder.

The Bianconeri are preparing for the departure of Merih Demiral, a Turkish defender who has been linked with a move to the Premier League.

Nikola Milenkovic could be signed by Juventus to replace Demiral.

More crucially, Juventus may be able to get Milenkovic for a reasonable price this summer, as Fiorentina may lose him for free next year if they do not sell him this summer.

Nikola Milenkovic of Fiorentina is wanted by AC Milan, Inter Milan, and Juventus.

Manchester United is poised to outbid the Italian trio for the EUR35 million asking price.

Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini showed at Euro 2020 that, despite their age, they still have the ability to perform at the highest level.

Matthijs de Ligt, a Dutch defender, is regarded as the club’s future.

Merih Demiral is highly regarded by Juventus’ administration, and the club is likely to make every effort to keep him in Turin.

As a result, Max Allegri’s team may decide to drop their interest in Nikola Milenkovic in favor of signing a midfielder.
