As Devastated England Supporters Flooded Out Of Pubs A Driver Crashed A Ps170000 Lamborghini Into A Lamppost

After slamming his PS170,000 Lamborghini Huracan into a lamp post in Birmingham, a motorist was assessing the bill today.

As customers flooded out of pubs following England’s Euro 2020 final defeat, photos showed the blue Ferrari damaged after the accident in Soho Hill, Handsworth, just before midnight on Sunday.

Ten firefighters rushed to the scene to assist in putting out any fires, but no one was hurt.

‘We were alerted by West Midlands Police – a Lamborghini Huracan had been in collision with a light post,’ stated West Midlands Fire Service today.

‘Two crews, one from Aston and the other from Handsworth, responded.’

‘The area was roped off because a lamp post had been left in a dangerous state.’

‘To remove the car from the light post, the crews employed a professional winch linked to the car.’

We used a hose reel to make sure there were no traces of fire.’ West Midlands Police claimed they were called to a ‘no-injury RTC involving a blue coloured Lamborghini Huracan’ and had no further involvement.

Huracan costs start at PS170,000 and may escalate to more than a quarter of a million pounds, depending on the model, after the prang in Soho Hill, Handsworth, shortly before midnight on Sunday as crowds rushed out of pubs following England’s Euro 2020 defeat.

They are one of the world’s fastest road-legal automobiles, capable of reaching speeds of over 200 mph and reaching 60 mph in 2.9 seconds from a standstill.

It’s the second time in less than four years that a Huracan has collided with a light post in Birmingham.

After the accident in August 2017, just after 1pm, a PS220,000 Lamborghini Huracan Spyder was written off.

The 25-year-old driver, who had his pride injured and his nose slashed, had rented the supercar for the day.

‘The driver had sustained an injury to the bridge of his nose but declined medical care,’ according to the West Midlands Ambulance Service.

He was taken away by his family after we offered him some pain treatment.’ West Midlands Police claimed they had no role.

The Huracan Spyder is the ‘pinnacle of Italian style and hand workmanship, a sports car concept elevated to the performance and sensation of a coupe, meant to cut through the air and become one with the sky,’ according to the Lamborghini website.

The car has a V10 multiple injection engine and can accelerate to 124 mph in 10.2 seconds.
