Florentino Perez, the president of Real Madrid, has been embroiled in controversy over the past few days after leaked tape revealed some of his inflammatory remarks from a few years ago.
According to the newest leaks, Perez was dissatisfied with former B team coach Michel, whom he referred to as a “fake.” According to recordings obtained by El Confidencial, Perez accused Michel of forcing Juan Mata out of Real Madrid Castilla in order to create room for his son.

Florentino Perez, the president of Real Madrid, has threatened to sue after statements he made about Real Madrid luminaries Iker Casillas, Raul, and Cristiano Ronaldo, among others, were leaked in recent days.
Perez issued a statement after the words were made public, alleging that they were taken out of context.
