Lazio And West Ham Have Reached An Agreement To Re Sign Winger Felipe Anderson

Felipe Anderson has been sold to Lazio for an undisclosed amount, according to West Ham United.

Anderson joined West Ham from Lazio in a club-record PS36 million deal in 2018, signing a four-year contract.

He was a regular at West Ham for a while, making 36 Premier League games in 2018-19, but when David Moyes returned to the club as manager, he fell out of favor.

As the Hammers were battling for a top-four spot under Moyes, the 28-year-old spent last season on loan at Porto, where he only appeared 10 times in all competitions.

Anderson leaves West Ham having scored 12 goals in 73 appearances for the London side in all competitions.

According to Sky Italia, Lazio, who are now headed by former Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri, would pay EUR3 million (PS2.6 million) for Anderson, with West Ham having a 50% sell-on clause.

From 2013 to 2018, the Brazilian spent five seasons with Lazio after moving to Italy from Santos.
