According to ESPN, Liverpool has been monitoring Aouar’s improvement for some time and may be tempted to make an offer.

Liverpool’s relationship with Lyon, on the other hand, has deteriorated since they attempted to sign striker Nabil Fekir in 2018, but the deal fell through.

Because to the uncertainty surrounding Paul Pogba’s future this summer, United are also keeping an eye on Aouar’s status.

PSG are mulling a bid for the midfielder, according to ESPN, and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sees Aouar as a good alternative for Paul Pogba.

Despite interest from United and Liverpool, insiders have told ESPN that Arsenal and Spurs are leading the battle to sign Aouar.

After Lyon rejecting a EUR40 million approach from Arsenal last season, the Gunners remain in first place.

Arsenal are looking for a creative midfielder this summer, and after missing out on Emiliano Buendia to Aston Villa, a EUR25 million bid could be enough to convince Aouar to join them.

Tottenham, who have a good relationship with Lyon after buying Tanguy Ndombele for a club record amount in 2019, are also seeking for a player with Aouar’s profile.

Spurs want to reconnect Aouar and Ndombele ahead of the new season after their success in France.
