Inter Milan, Juventus, and AS Roma have all been linked with a move for Barcelona’s outcast Miralem Pjanic.
The Bosnian midfielder wants to return to Italy this summer, according to Sport.
Before joining Barcelona last summer, he played five years at AS Roma and four years at Juventus.
This summer, Inter Milan, Juventus, and AS Roma are all interested in loaning the player for a season.
Barcelona, on the other hand, wants to sell him permanently.
Barcelona acquired Miralem Pjanic from Juventus in a trade transaction that also saw Arthur Melo join the Bianconeri.
Because of his vision, passing, inventiveness, and set pieces, most fans and commentators thought he was the ideal addition for the Blaugrana.
However, the former AS Roma midfielder struggled to break into Barcelona’s starting lineup after failing to win Ronald Koeman’s trust.
In the pecking order at the club, he was behind Sergio Busquets, Frenkie de Jong, and Pedri.
During his first season at the Catalan giants, the 31-year-old had to make do with a supporting role.
In La Liga, he only made 19 appearances for the club.
Due to a lack of consistent playing time, Miralem Pjanic is said to be keen to leave Barcelona.
The Blaugrana are reportedly willing to terminate the midfielder’s contract, but would rather trade him this summer.
To force a move to Italy this summer, Pjanic will need to take a pay cut.
Inter Milan, Juventus, and AS Roma are all struggling financially as a result of the coronavirus outbreak and are looking to offload some of their highest-paid players this summer.
