As Part Of Their Efforts To Lure Miralem Pjanic Back To Turin Juventus Has Offered Aaron Ramsey To Barcelona

Juventus is said to have offered Aaron Ramsey to Barcelona, with the Old Lady hoping to bring former player Miralem Pjanic back to Turin in a swap deal.
Ramsey has been linked with a transfer away from the Allianz Stadium after two injury-plagued seasons since joining the club from Arsenal, while Pjanic has played relatively little since joining Barcelona for EUR60 million (PS56 million) last summer.
In statements provided by Football Italia, Calciomercato.com has stated that the Italian giants are willing to trade Ramsey to Ronald Koeman’s side in order to get Pjanic, who wishes to return to the Serie A club.
Aaron Ramsey has apparently been offered on Barcelona after a difficult few seasons. Miralem Pjanic has also struggled at Barcelona, and Juventus are reportedly interested in bringing him back. Andrea Pirlo’s side are in need of midfield reinforcements undergoing the announcement that Arthur, who was part of the deal that sent Pjanic to the Nou Camp, will be out for three months following surgery to addres.
While Juventus are apparently interested in signing Manuel Locatelli of Sassuolo, Pjanic is also rumoured to be on their radar.
Barca also has a financial motive to sell, as the club has to reduce its pay bill as it prepares to sign Lionel Messi to a new contract.
Barca are unlikely to sign Ramsey as they try to figure out how to wage for Lionel Messi’s new contract. Sporting director Mateu Alemany is said to have met with the agents of Sergi Roberto, Sergio Busquets, Gerard Pique, and Jordi Alba to discuss a pay cut for the coming season.
While Pjanic’s EUR9 million annual salary means Barcelona needs him off the books, Ramsey’s EUR7.5 million annual salary is unlikely to persuade them to buy.
