Chelsea See Lewandowski As The Next Best Option To Erling Haaland And Are Planning A Ps50 Million Bid

Chelsea is rumored to be planning a move for Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski.
Following Timo Werner’s dismal debut season, the Blues are looking for a new No 9 and have identified Erling Haaland as their top target.
Chelsea, on the other hand, recognizes the challenge of luring Haaland away from Dortmund and has instead focused on Lewandowski.
Chelsea are planning a move for Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski, according to Sportsmail. Lewandowski’s agent is reportedly aiming for a final large contract and has pushed him towards Real Madrid or Manchester City.
According to The Sun, Chelsea is eager to take the lead in the transfer market and is willing to pay PS50 million for Bayern Munich’s best goal scorer.
Bayern Munich, on the other hand, is thought to be adamant about not losing their star scorer this summer because he has a contract with the club until 2023.
Chelsea are looking for a new No 9 after Timo Werner’s dismal first season. They had targeted Erling Haaland but were unsuccessful in their pursuit. Still, Lewandowski is reported to be anxious to test himself in the Premier League and may be willing to leave Germany for the appropriate price.
The Poland international has performed admirably in Germany’s top division, beating Gerd Mullers’ long-standing record of 41 goals, but he is looking forward to a new challenge.
Lewandowski has won the Champions League, DFB-Pokal, DFL-Supercup, and Bundesliga with Bayern throughout the years, and he has accomplished everything he can at the German club.
During that time, he also won individual awards such as UEFA Men’s Player of the Year, FIFA Men’s Player of the Year, and CL Forward of the Season.
Furthermore, Lewandowski would have won the Ballon dOr last year if the award ceremony had not been postponed, as he assisted Bayern Munich in winning the treble in the 2019-2020 season.
