Conor Gallagher Of Chelsea Is Reportedly Likely To Go On Loan With Crystal Palace And Newcastle Leading The Race

Conor Gallagher is rumored to be on his way out of Chelsea on loan, with Crystal Palace and Newcastle keen in taking him on for the season.
After a strong loan spell with relegated West Bromwich Albion last season, the central midfielder is receiving interest from several Premier League clubs.
According to the Sun, the Blues are willing to let him to leave on a temporary basis, but see him as an important part of their long-term ambitions.
Chelsea are apparently willing to allow Conor Gallagher leave on loan, with Premier League teams Crystal Palace and Newcastle interested. Blues boss Thomas Tuchel, though, is unwilling to authorise a permanent exit. Gallagher, 21, has been training with the first team and played in the club’s 6-1 pre-season triumph against Peterborough.
However he has a little chance of breaking into Chelsea’s current Premier League squad, with Jorginho, N’Golo Kante, Mateo Kovacic, and Mason Mount ahead of him in line for the two deeper midfield positions.
The club, like Billy Gilmour, who is presently on loan at Norwich, is said to be unwilling to sanction a permanent exit, with Palace and Newcastle both eager to take him on for a season and provide him with further Premier League experience.
Palace have been priced out of a bid for Lyon centre back Joachim Andersen (left), while Gary Cahill (right) could go.
Tottenham had been linked with Dane Andersen, but the Spurs may have moved on to other targets, and Palace is unlikely to pay the PS26 million asking price.
Gary Cahill, 35, is expected to depart Selhurst Park when his contract expires this summer, with Rangers apparently ready to give him PS35,000 per week.
Palace wants him to stay, but their current contract offers him a smaller pay and more appearance-based bonuses.
