Mikel Arteta Has Five New Targets For Arsenal

After a relatively quiet transfer window, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is finally ready to blow the cash this summer.
Nuno Tavares is Arsenal’s lone confirmed addition so far this summer, having agreed to a PS6.8 million contract.
During the 2021-2022 season, Arteta is rumored to be interested in signing Sheffield United’s Aaron Ramsdale and Norwich City’s Max Aarons.
According to The Athletic, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is ready to splurge the cash in the summer transfer season. Arteta is eager to add another goalkeeper to his team and has identified Ramsdale as a possible target.
Arteta feels Ramsdale’s shot-stopping abilities will help the Gunners next season after they conceded 39 goals in 38 games the previous season.
As a result, Arsenal will make a bid, and if Ramsdale accepts, he may become the Gunners’ starting goalkeeper.
Arteta is also rumoured to be looking for a new right-back to replace Hector Bellerin, who is expected to depart the club this summer.
Arteta is in the market for a new best-back to replace Hector Bellerin, and believes Norwich City’s Max Aarons is the right pick. Bellerin is expected to leave the Emirates after 10 years with the club, having made 239 appearances.
Max Aarons of Norwich City is thought to be the frontrunner.
Arsenal, on the other hand, will face heavy competition from Tottenham for his signature.
Arteta is seeking for an experienced playmaker to work alongside Thomas Partey in the middle of the park.
According to sources, Arsenal has picked Ruben Neves, who is valued at PS35 million, as their main target for the post.
Arsenal boss Edu has been in contact with the player’s agent Jorge Mendes to negotiate a transfer, as Wolves are thought to be open to selling their star man.
Arsenal have selected Ruben Neves as their main target to play with Partey. Arsenal are also ready to take advantage of the chance to sign Martin Odegaard on a permanent basis. Edu is also keen in getting a new No 10 after seeing Martin Odegaard impress during his loan stay with Arsenal last season.
As a result, Arsenal are said to be’ready to pounce’ on the chance to capture Odegaard on a permanent basis this summer if he becomes available.
On the left side of the pitch, Arsenal has also tightened things up by signing Emile Smith Rowe to a new long-term contract.
For the 2021-2022 season, the 20-year-old will start on the opposite side of Nicolas Pepe.
If Arteta is successful in his transfer to Arsenal, the Gunners’ starting lineup against Brentford may be completely different.
