Bitcoin Price to Rise to $318,417 by December 2025, According to Crypto Experts A panel of crypto experts has forecast that the price of bitcoin would rise to $318,417 by December 2025.
According to the most bullish expert, the cryptocurrency’s price would hit $160,000 before the end of the year.
Meanwhile, 54% believe that hyperbitcoinization will occur by the year 2050.
Bitcoin Price Predictions from Crypto Experts Finder, a prominent product comparison website, undertook a study to determine bitcoin’s future outlook as its popularity develops.
“As the public becomes more aware of cryptocurrencies, all eyes are on bitcoin’s price.”
So we polled our panel of 42 cryptocurrency specialists to find out what the future holds for the coin,” the company explained last week.
Crypto asset managers, executives from crypto exchanges and other service providers, crypto analysts, academicians, and university lecturers are among the panelists.
The price of bitcoin at the end of the year and in a few years was one of the many subjects explored.
While there may be some medium-term price decline, the panel believes that the price of BTC will rise to $318,417 by December 2025.
“This is 61% higher than the panels end-of-2025 projection in December 2020, but 12% lower than that in April,” the business noted. Additionally, “Panelists anticipate that the price of bitcoin will rise to a stunning $4,287,591 per BTC by December 2030.”
Outliers skew the norm; when we look at the median price prediction, the 2030 price forecast drops to $470,000,” Finder stated.
In terms of what the price of bitcoin will be at the end of the year, the majority of panelists (61%) believe it is now undervalued, with an average price of $66,284 per coin projected at the end of 2021.
On the panel, Morpher CEO Martin Frohler was the most optimistic about bitcoin’s price.
He predicted that adoption by corporations and institutional investors, along with a loose monetary policy and strong asset inflation, would send bitcoin to six figures before the end of the year.
Developing countries will embrace bitcoin as legal cash during the next halving cycle, and bitcoin will have supplanted gold as a worldwide reserve asset by 2030.
Justin Chuh, a senior trader at Wave Financial, predicted a lower-than-average price of $56,000 for the year’s conclusion.
Despite this, he believes bitcoin is a “tried-and-true safe haven” for digital assets.
The trader believes bitcoin’s price will continue to rise, with the price ending 2025 at $210,000 and rising to $400,000 by 2030, thanks to halving occurrences and inflation.
According to him, the larger upside moves will most likely be triggered by halving events and inflation in the years leading up to 2025 and 2030.
Prices are expected to be driven by supply and demand indefinitely, with less availability for a larger range of customers.
But, not everyone on the panel was as optimistic as the others.
John Hawkins, a senior lecturer at the University of Canberra, was one of the panel’s most pessimistic members.
He predicted that bitcoin would be worth $20,000 before the end of the year.
Furthermore, the instructor believes that governments adopting bitcoin will have a detrimental impact on the currency’s price.
The research also examines when experts believe hyperbitcoinization will occur.
According to Finder, 54% of the panel believes that hyperbitcoinization (when bitcoin overtakes global finance) would occur by 2050.
29% believe it will happen by 2035, and another 20% believe it will happen by 2040.
Galia Digital, Allnodes, Wave Financial, Morpher, Cryptocompare, Coinsmart, Banz Capital, Arcane Crypto, Rouge International and Rouge Ventures, Celsius Network, Coingecko, Coinflip, Token Metrics, Thomson Reuters, Finder, Morgan Creek Digital, Zebpay, Amber, Decred, UCL, University of New South Wales, City University of Hong Kong, and University of Buenos Aires are among the panelists.
What do you believe bitcoin’s price will be in 2025, and when do you think it will be hyperbitcoinized?
