Liverpool Defender Trent Alexander Arnold Confirms He Is Fit And Ready To Play Again After Recovering From An England Injury

Trent Alexander-Arnold of Liverpool has said he is fit and ready to play again following his recovery from a thigh injury that forced him to miss Euro 2020.
The right-back was one of four right-backs included in Gareth Southgate’s England squad for the Euros, but he was forced to withdraw after suffering a thigh injury in a warm-up game against Austria.
Alexander-Arnold has recovered and is currently in Austria with Liverpool, where he is preparing for friendlies against Wacker Innsbruck and VfB Stuttgart as part of their pre-season schedule.
“I’m completely pain-free.”
When we were off over the summer, I did a lot of rehab with the physios and medical personnel, which was beneficial to me,” Alexander-Arnold remarked.
“I’m in okay shape, I’m healthy, and I’m back in full training now, so it’s all good.”
It’s beneficial to me.
“Now that I’ve done a few practices with the lads, I feel ready to play.”
However, the choice is made by the manager, the personnel, and, of course, the medical professionals; they must meet and discuss whether the risk is worth it.
“If not, there’s a game on Friday as well, so maybe a few minutes on Tuesday and a little more on Friday to ease me in, who knows? Either way, I’ll be ready to play.”
