Manchester United Are Preparing A Proposal For Raphael Varane Of Real Madrid

Manchester United is contemplating a proposal for Real Madrid’s Raphael Varane at the moment.
The France international’s contract is up in a year and he wants to play in the Premier League.
The 28-year-old world champion has been given a contract extension by Real Madrid, but he has yet to sign it and is weighing his options after ten years at the club, during which he has won three La Liga crowns and four Champions Leagues.
United are sure that personal conditions will not be an issue and are willing to extend a deal to the Frenchman until 2026.
They approached Madrid for preliminary talks last week, and the talks were pleasant enough to give United optimism of a deal.
Varane is presently on vacation and will make a choice once he returns and speaks with Real Madrid.
After spending so much time in Madrid, he does not want to go against the club’s interests and would wait to see how the talks between Real and United progress.
When Varane has met with Real, the Spanish club will decide whether or not to sell him and how much he would cost.
Sergio Ramos has already left Real Madrid for Paris Saint-Germain, while David Alaba has joined from Bayern Munich on a free transfer.
United are expecting to complete the signing of Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund with an initial fee of PS73 million this week.
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said following his side’s 2-1 friendly win over Derby County on Sunday: “From what I gather, it’s just paperwork, minor little stuff, maybe we can announce something [soon].”
Let’s finish the paperwork and get him across the finish line, and then I’ll be able to express my true feelings about the player.”
