Manchester City Is Considering Offers For Yangel Herrera With Leeds And West Ham Interested In The Midfielder

Manchester City are allegedly open to offers for Yangel Herrera, with Leeds United and West Ham United leading the chase for the midfielder.
The 23-year-old spent the 2020-2021 season on loan at Granada in LaLiga, scoring eight goals in 46 appearances across all competitions.
Before Fernandinho’s contract deal, Pep Guardiola considered adding Herrera to his team for the coming season, according to The Sun.
Manchester City are apparently open to offers for Yangel Herrera, with Leeds and West Ham leading the push. Herrera is claimed to be lower down the pecking order at the Etihad, therefore Leeds and West Ham are interested in making a transfer.
Southampton have showed an interest in the Venezuelan international in the past.
Last season, the Saints reportedly dispatched scouts to watch the midfielder on several occasions.
Granada City, where the 23-year-old spent the 2020-2021 season on loan, has previously sold a number of players deemed surplus to needs.
Jack Harrison returned to Leeds after two successful loan seasons with the Yorkshire club.
Lukas Nmecha and Angelino also left, while Manchester United’s purchase for Jadon Sancho will net the club about PS10 million due to a 15% sell-on provision in the Borussia Dortmund star’s contract.
City will use the monies to bolster their squad in order to defend their Premier League title.
Guardiola’s top two transfer targets are Harry Kane and Jack Grealish, although the City manager has stated that the club cannot afford a high-priced replacement for Sergio Aguero, who joined Barcelona on a free transfer in June.
