Uefas Goal Of The Season Award Has Been Nominated For Paul Pogba Dele Alli And Kemar Roofe

What was the nature of Pogba’s goal?
The shot by Paul Pogba came in a 3-3 draw with Switzerland at the Euros, which resulted in France’s elimination on penalties.
If there was one individual who did not deserve to lose, it was Pogba, who put in a truly outstanding performance in the round-of-16 match, demonstrating just how good he can be when he’s on form.
The frosting on the cake was a magnificent curling shot from range, which appeared to have pushed France through until Switzerland’s incredible late rally.
Roofe, how about him?
Roofes’ goal came late in Rangers’ Europa League group-stage match against Standard Liege.
Roofe scooped up the ball inside his own half and beat a number of defenders before launching himself from there.
The shot was measured at 49.9 meters from the opposite goal line, making it the competition’s longest-range goal ever (though the record was broken again a week later by Omonias Jordi Gomez).
At the Euros, Schick’s halfway line strike was legendary, but Roofes was just as good.
And what about Dele?
In February, Deles scored in a 4-0 thrashing of Wolfsberg in the Europa League round of 32.
Tottenham took the lead with a magnificent bicycle kick from Allis, who hit the corner.
Under manager Jose Mourinho, the midfielder was mostly out of favor, and his appearances were mostly limited to the Europa League, but his season will be remembered for this breathtaking display of skill, another in Allis’ long list of brilliant goals.
