Arsenal And West Ham Have Told Hibernian To Lower Their Ps5 Million Asking Price For The Teenager Josh Doig

Arsenal and West Ham have instructed Hibernian to lower their asking price for Josh Doig before making a serious bid.
The two London rivals are one of several clubs interested in signing Doig, but they are unwilling to pay Hibernian’s asking price of up to PS5 million plus add-ons.
Watford are the only club in genuine talks about signing the 19-year-old, but their interest has waned since signing Danny Rose on a free transfer.
After signing Nuno Tavares, West Ham manager David Moyes is looking to add depth to his left-back position, while Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is looking for further protection for Kierney.
If both teams are to pursue their interest, Hibs must lower their asking price to roughly PS2.5 million.
While Doig is attracting a lot of attention, the defender says he is concentrating on getting back in shape after suffering from coronavirus.
“There’s always gossip, I’m aware of that,” he stated lately.
“Right now, for me, it’s about getting back to full fitness after being out with Covid.”
I believe it has taken away some of my edge and athleticism.
