Despite The Clubs Financial Difficulties Barcelonas Star Player Is Adamant About Not Lowering His Compensation Reports

According to Barca Blaugranes, Barcelona star left-back Jordi Alba is hesitant to cut his salaries despite other experienced players agreeing to do so.
Due to Barcelona’s dire financial condition, established players such as Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets, Gerard Pique, and Sergi Roberto have all agreed to have their salary reduced.
In order to clinch a new contract with the Catalan giants, Lionel Messi has reportedly agreed to take a 50% pay cut.
Barcelona has an ‘agreement’ with Gerard Pique to follow Lionel Messi, while Sergio Busquets is close to agreeing to a new contract with lower wages.
Jordi Alba, on the other hand, is a unique case.
The 32-year-old left-back has not indicated to Barcelona that he would like his earnings reduced this summer.
Alba is expected to reconsider his mind after he sees club president Joan Laporta, according to the Blaugrana.
Barcelona is also hoping that the obstinate players will follow their leader Lionel Messi’s lead and decrease their salary in the coming days.

Despite the fact that this would be a dramatic step, the club may not have any other options.
Barcelona’s chances of winning the hearing are slim.
The club will, however, be permitted to register its players until the court issues its final decision.
According to the Sun, Barcelona president Joan Laporta has given the players until August 15th, 2021 to agree on a salary decrease or suffer legal penalties.
Due to the growing global epidemic, the Catalan giants are currently in a huge financial crisis.
In order to balance the books, Barcelona may be forced to sell several of its highest-paid players, including Philippe Coutinho, Samuel Umtiti, Miralem Pjanic, and Neto.
Despite their financial difficulties, they have recruited free agents Sergio Aguero, Eric Garcia, and Memphis Depay to bolster their roster for the coming season.
