Despite Interest From Liverpool And Ac Milan Barcelonas Star Is Caught In Limbo

Barcelona playmaker Philippe Coutinho has been linked with a move away from the Nou Camp this summer, with AC Milan and Liverpool also interested.
But, the Liverpool Echo reports that the Reds will not sign Coutinho this summer, leaving AC Milan as Coutinho’s last choice to end his Barcelona nightmare.
Get Italian Football News editor Kaustubh Pandey said Coutinho’s transfer status away from Barcelona is “quite difficult” on the Blood Red YouTube channel.
“It’s pretty complicated with the financial position in Serie A,” Pandey added.
Barcelona are hesitant to do another loan because they want a long-term solution and are short on cash,” Pandey added. Despite Milan’s need for a replacement for Hakan Calhanoglu, who left to join San Siro rivals Inter, a move to AC Milan is now highly doubtful due to Coutinho’s hefty salaries.
“As far as Coutinho coming to Milan is concerned, it is highly doubtful,” he remarked.
“Milan are looking at a plethora of number 10s – Nikola Vlasic, who was at Everton, is one – but Coutinho looks improbable as of now,” Kaustubh Pandey said.
It’s interesting because his value has dropped significantly, and he only made roughly 20 games for Barcelona last season.

Despite Liverpool’s need for a new attacking player, a return to Merseyside is quite unlikely at this stage of the summer market.
Barcelona is in financial trouble and is planning to sell several of their high-paid players this summer in order to make ends meet.
In the current transfer window, the Catalan giants are willing to sell Philippe Coutinho, Samuel Umtiti, Neto, and Miralem Pjanic.
