Manchester United Have Completed The Ps73 Million Acquisition Of England Winger Jadon Sancho From Borussia Dortmund

The signing of Jadon Sancho by Manchester United has been confirmed.
Last month, the Premier League club agreed to purchase the England winger from Borussia Dortmund, and the 21-year-old passed his physical following his involvement in Euro 2020.
At Old Trafford, he has agreed to a five-year contract.
United are said to have paid EUR85 million (£72.9 million) for the England international, making him the club’s fourth most expensive acquisition ever.
Sancho stated, “I’ll always be grateful to Dortmund for providing me the opportunity to play first-team football, even though I always knew I’d return to England one day.”
“Being able to join Manchester United is a dream come true for me, and I can’t wait to show what I’m capable of in the Premier League.”
This is a young and dynamic squad, and I am confident that by working together, we can grow into something great and provide the fans the success they deserve.
Sancho scored 50 goals in 137 appearances for Dortmund over his four seasons at the club, establishing himself as one of the most intriguing young talents in European football following his acquisition from Manchester City in 2017.
He appeared three times for England at Euro 2020, including as a late substitution in the final defeat to Italy, where he missed a penalty in the shootout.
Following the final, Sancho was one of three England players who received racist abuse, along with new Manchester United teammate Marcus Rashford and Bukayo Saka.
The signing is a significant step forward for United under new manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who has stated that the team has to “strengthen” this summer in order to catch Premier League winners and rivals Manchester City.
“Jadon exemplifies the type of player I want to bring to Manchester United; he is a forward in the best Manchester United tradition.”
He’ll be a key member of my team for many years to come, and we’re excited to watch him develop.
His goal and assist statistics speak for themselves, and he’ll also bring a lot of pace, flair, and creativity to the team,” Solskjaer remarked.
“Old Trafford will provide him with the platform he requires to unleash his untapped potential and perform at his best.”
For a player his age, Jadon has accomplished a lot and shown the fortitude to go overseas and prove himself.
“As we prepare for the new season, we all look forward to welcome Jadon to the group.” Sancho, who United tried to sign last year, will re-join the squad after a summer break due to his participation in the Euros.
