After Leaving Liverpools Training Camp In Austria Harry Wilson Is Likely To Join Fulham On A Permanent Basis

Liverpool winger Harry Wilson is close to joining Fulham.
Benfica had been interested in the Welsh international, but the Cottagers have leapt to the front of the queue, and it is understood that Craven Cottage is now his most likely destination.
Wilson is still at the club’s training camp in Austria, but he was left out of the team for the friendly against manager Jürgen Klopp’s previous club Mainz on Friday night to avoid jeopardizing any potential move.
Fulham are closing in on a PS10 million deal for Liverpool and Wales winger Harry Wilson Wilson has only made two first-team appearances for the club, in the League Cup and FA Cup. Liverpool intend to get roughly PS10 million for the 24-year-old former academy graduate, who has spent much of his time on loan at Hull.
Wilson played three times for Wales at Euro 2020, but he did not have the impact he hoped for, and he was sent off in the final minute of their 4-0 loss to Denmark in the last 16.
The midfielder spent last season on loan at Cardiff City in the Championship, scoring seven goals in 33 appearances, and is now ready to return to England’s second division.
Wilson played three times for Wales at Euro 2020 and was sent off against Denmark. Fulham only lasted one season back in the Premier League, finishing in 18th place.
Wilson will link up with Marco Silva, the former coach of Liverpool’s rivals Everton, if he completes a move to Craven Cottage.
As Scott Parker left the west London club by mutual consent in June, Silva was selected as his replacement.
