Arsenal Are Considering A Third Transfer Proposal For Sheffield United Goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale

Arsenal are pondering a third proposal for Sheffield United goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale in the region of PS25 million.
So far this summer, Arsenal has had two bids for the 23-year-old turned down.
Any prospective deal for Ramsdale is likely to involve considerable add-ons, with Arsenal’s current approach thought to contain an initial cost of PS18m plus add-ons worth more than PS25m.
Sky Sports News has been informed that reports of a PS30 million incoming bid are inaccurate.
Aaron Ramsdale returned Sheffield United for PS18.5 million from demoted Bournemouth last year. Ramsdale, who was capped by England from the age of 18 to 21, rejoined Sheffield United last summer for PS18.5 million from relegated Bournemouth.
Despite Sheffield United’s relegation last season, Ramsdale was named player of the season, and the same was true in his final season at Bournemouth in 2019/20.
He was a member of England’s Euro 2020 squad that advanced to the final, but he has yet to play for his country on a full international level.
So far this summer, Arsenal has signed Nuno Tavares from Benfica and Albert Sambi Lokonga from Anderlecht.
Arsenal and Brighton have reached an agreement in principle over the potential transfer of defender Ben White in a deal for more than PS50 million.
The club is also in talks with Roma about selling Granit Xhaka, and despite a tiny valuation discrepancy, all sides are optimistic that a deal will be reached.
