Chelseas Star Wants To Join Inter Milan According To Reports

Marcos Alonso, a left-back for Chelsea, is reportedly interested in joining Serie A champions Inter Milan this summer.
After Ben Chilwell, the 30-year-old is Chelsea’s second-choice left-back.
Marcos Alonso is reportedly seeking to force a deal to Inter Milan this summer, according to Gazetta dello Sport.
Chelsea are reportedly looking for a fee of between EUR15 and EUR20 million for the Spaniard, while Inter Milan are interested in signing him on loan with a purchase option at the conclusion of the season.
Marcos Alonso joined Chelsea from Fiorentina for PS24 million in the summer of 2016.
Under Antonio Conte’s supervision, the left-back was a revelation during his first couple of seasons at Chelsea.
Chelsea won the Premier League in 2016-17, the FA Cup in 2017-18, the Europa League in 2018-19, and the Champions League last season thanks to his efforts.
In his five years at Chelsea, Alonso has made over 160 appearances in all competitions for the club, scoring 24 goals.
But, since the acquisition of Ben Chilwell from Leicester City last summer, the Spain international has dropped down the Chelsea pecking order.
Last season, the 30-year-old only made 17 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions, and he is desperate to depart in the summer transfer window.
Inter Milan are on the lookout for a left-back this summer, following Ashley Young’s transfer to Aston Villa.
Inter Milan’s lone senior left-back, Aleksandar Kolarov, is now injured.
Marcos Alonso is seen as a valuable addition to the club by the Serie A champions ahead of their championship defense.
