According To Juventus Vice President Pavel Nedved Cristiano Ronaldo Will Remain At The Club

Despite reports that Cristiano Ronaldo will leave Juventus before the start of the new season, the club’s vice-president and former player Pavel Nedved believes he will stay.
Ronaldo, who is in the final year of his contract, has been linked with a return to old clubs Manchester United and Real Madrid, as well as a move to French powers Paris Saint-Germain.
Last season, the 36-year-old was Serie A’s top scorer, with 29 goals, and Nedved gave an update on his future after Juve defeated Cesena 3-1 in a pre-season friendly on Saturday.
Cristiano Ronaldo has been linked with a transfer away from Juventus this summer, but vice-president Pavel Nedved maintains he will stay in Turin next season. ‘Ronaldo will return to training on Monday and he will stay with us,’ Nedved told Sky Sport Italia.
Only Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski (103) has scored more goals in Europe’s top five leagues since joining Juventus in July 2018.
Throughout his three seasons at Turin, the Portugal international has won two Serie A titles and a Coppa Italia.
Meanwhile, Paulo Dybala is in the final year of his contract, and Italy’s Euro 2020 hero Giorgio Chiellini is a free agent after his Juve contract expired last month.
Giorgio Chiellini, a Euro 2020 star, is now without a club after his contract with Juventus expired. When asked about their respective futures, Nedved stated that the club was fine with the scenario.
‘[Director Federico] Cherubini has already made touch with [Dybala’s] agent, who is expected to arrive in Turin next week.
‘We have plenty of time to settle the matter; it’s not a problem,’ Nedved said of Chiellini. ‘When he returns from his vacation, then we can chat.’
