Hugo Millan A 14 Year Old Spanish Motorbike Racer Died In A Crash During A European Talent Cup Event

H ugo Millan, a 14-year-old motorbike racer from Spain, died tragically in a crash during a European Talent Cup event.
Millan was injured in a catastrophic multi-rider accident at the MotorLand Aragon racetrack in Alcaniz on Sunday and was taken to the circuit’s medical center.
Millan died as a result of his injuries, according to a statement released by MotoGP.
“It is with great regret that we report the passing of rider Hugo Millan following a serious incident in European Talent Cup Race One at the MotorLand Aragon Round of the FIM CEV Repsol,” Moto GP said.
“Millan was engaged in a multi-rider collision at Turn 5 that resulted in the session being red flagged right away.”
The Medical Intervention Vehicles got on scene quickly, and the rider was treated on the track before being taken to the Circuit’s Medical Centre.
“Despite the best efforts of the circuit medical personnel, Millan has regrettably succumbed to his injuries, according to the Medical Centre.”
“In the FIM CEV Repsol, Millan was having his best season ever, claiming multiple podiums to demonstrate his consistency as he competed at the front of the class.”
“We are profoundly saddened to inform that Hugo Millan succumbed to his injuries after a crash in the HETC race,” FIM CEV Repsol tweeted.

“Devastating news that 14-year-old Hugo Millan has lost his life while racing in Aragon at the CEV Cup,” wrote Team Suzuki Ecstar. “We will miss you Hugo.”
“The Huelva rider showed a lot of talent and was in third place in the competition.”
