Kylian Mbappe Informs Mauricio Pochettino That He Will Not Extend His Contract With Psg Beyond 2022

According to sources, Kylian Mbappe has told Mauricio Pochettino that he has no wish to extend his contract with Paris Saint-Germain beyond the end of current season.
The 22-year-old has just one year left on his contract at the Parc des Princes, having scored 132 goals in 171 games since arriving from Monaco in 2017.
Mbappe has only recently returned from pre-season after receiving an extended holiday following his summer international heroics with France at Euro 2020.
According to reports, Kylian Mbappe has informed Mauricio Pochettino that he will not sign a new PSG contract. Mbappe’s future with the French giants is up in the air as he has one year remaining on his contract. Nevertheless, according to Spanish news outlet Marca, the forward has informed his manager Pochettino that he does not want to renew his contract with the club.
Real Madrid are waiting in the wings to find the ideal opportunity to sign Mbappe, according to the report, after their patience paid off when they signed David Alaba on a free transfer from Bayern Munich this summer.
PSG now has to decide whether to keep Mbappe this season and risk losing him on a free transfer next year, or sell him now while the transfer market is still open.
PSG, led by Mauricio Pochettino (above), now risk losing Mbappe to a free transfer next summer. The French club has been striving to construct a world-class roster around Mbappe this summer, bringing in players like Sergio Ramos, Gianluigi Donnarumma, Achraf Hakimi, and Georginio Wijnaldum.
Pochettino and his team were boosted when Brazilian talisman Neymar signed a new three-year contract at the start of May, and they were optimistic that Mbappe would follow suit.
Mbappe, on the other hand, said before France’s Euro 2020 campaign, that he was indecisive about his future after missing a penalty in the last-16 shootout loss to Switzerland, which confirmed Les Bleus’ elimination from the competition.
PSG were sure that Mbappe (right) would sign a new deal with Neymar (left). When asked about his club future in early June, the 22-year-old said: ‘I don’t have to go fast.’
I need to make the best decision I can, which is challenging, and I need to give myself every opportunity to do so.
‘I’m in a point where I like myself and feel good about myself.’
Is this, however, the greatest location for me?
I haven’t figured out the answer yet.
I understand that a project with or without me has a different impact on the club.
‘But, PSG are aware of my feelings.’
‘Probably because they know I won’t sneak.’ Meanwhile, new PSG defender Ramos – who joined on a free transfer from Real Madrid earlier this summer – claimed that he wants Mbappe to stay in Paris, but that he needs to join Real one day.
Mbappe must play for Real Madrid at some time, according to new PSG defender Sergio Ramos, who told Spanish news source AS earlier this month: ‘Madrid is one of the top clubs in the world.’
From a historical standpoint, the best
Great players, in my opinion, must pass through there.
‘But now I want him (Mbappe) on my team,’ says the Frenchman.
I want to win, and I want the greatest people on my team to help me.
‘On a personal level, I could never give advice.’
I could provide him some advice based on my own experiences, but I would do so in secret.
‘As a PSG player, I’d like to see him stay.’
Mbappe is one of the best players I’ve ever played with.’
