Asmir Begovic Believes Aaron Ramsdale Has The Potential To Be One Of The Top Goalkeepers In The Country

Asmir Begovic believes Aaron Ramsdale has the potential to become one of the top goalkeepers in the country.
The 34-year-old Bosnia and Herzegovina international, who joined Everton on a free transfer last month, spent several seasons with Ramsdale at Bournemouth.
And Begovic told Talksport that the Sheffield United striker, who is 23 years old, has a lot of room to grow in the future.
Asmir Begovic has urged Sheffield United goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale (pictured) to become one of the finest in the country. Ramsdale was part of England’s squad at Euro 2020 this summer.
‘He has already demonstrated that he is capable of playing at the greatest level.’
He still has a lot of potential to realize.
‘The more he plays, the better he will get.’
Therefore it’s no wonder that he’s been connected with some of the best clubs in the world.
Ramsdale’s potential was praised by his former Bournemouth teammate Begovic, who said: ‘What he’s done over the previous couple of years shows everyone the quality he has.’
‘Given his age and where he is now, he has the potential to become an even greater goalkeeper.’ Ramsdale was relegated for two seasons in a row with Bournemouth and subsequently Sheffield United, but won Player of the Year for both teams despite their Premier League demotions.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta wants to give current No. 1 Bernd Leno some competition, and backup Alex Runarsson has been linked with a loan move elsewhere.
