Manchester City Are Planning A Ps100 Million Bid For Jack Grealish Who Is Ready For Tough Discussions With Aston Villa Next Week

Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish is expected to have crunch talks over his future next week, amid interest from Premier League winners Manchester City.
After helping England reach the Euro 2020 final, the 25-year-old midfielder has been on vacation in Mykonos.
According to the Daily Mirror, the Aston Villa captain is set to conduct talks with the club’s hierarchy when he returns for pre-season training.
Acrobat Jack Grealish is expected to meet with Aston Villa officials next week to discuss his future. The 25-year-old has been linked with a British-record PS100 million move as the Premier League winners look to rebuild their team, which includes the signing of Harry Kane.
Aston Villa are reportedly offered Grealish a new agreement worth PS200,000 per week in order to persuade him to stay.
The discovery could be a setback for Pep Guardiola, who is already dealing with the impact from bombshell discoveries published exclusively by the Mail on Sunday, which appear to demonstrate that the Champions League finalists exaggerated their earnings to avoid Financial Fair Play laws by having millions of pounds funneled into the club by Abu Dhabi.
Grealish impressed during England’s Euro 2020 campaign, but the club must now make a huge decision to retain him at the club until the summer of 2025. Grealish only signed his last contract in September 2020 to keep him at the club until the summer of 2025.
According to Sportrac, he is already Villa’s best paid player, earning PS120,000 per week, with Tyrone Mings and Ollie Watkins earning PS80,000 and PS75,000 per week, respectively.
If Grealish signs the rumoured deal, he will become one of the highest-paid players in the Premier League.
Pep Guardiola wants Grealish as part of a massive makeover of his squad, but the potential of playing in the Champions League could complicate Grealish’s choice to stay at Villa Park.
Although missing much of the second half of last season due Harry injury, the midfielder had his greatest season ever, scoring six league goals and assisting 12 times, second only to Kane (14 assists) in England’s top division in 2020-21.
