Romelu Lukaku Who Is Set To Join Chelsea Has Completed The First Stage Of His Physical Ahead Of His Ps98m Homecoming

Romelu Lukaku has finalized the first stage of his physical ahead of his PS98m return to Chelsea, and has hinted that a deal is on the verge of being completed.
In a video posted on, the Belgian attacker was seen leaving Milan’s Columbus clinic on Monday afternoon, holding a Chelsea shirt in the rear of the car as he was driven away.
He will return to Chelsea seven years after leaving Everton in 2014 and following a fantastic season at Inter Milan, when his goals helped the Nerazzurri win Serie A.
After passing the first part of his physical ahead of his PS98m return to Stamford Bridge, Romelu Lukaku was pictured carrying a Chelsea shirt. The 28-year-old Belgian will rejoin Chelsea seven years after leaving Everton in 2014. The two clubs have finally agreed a fee for Lukaku, who told Italian champions Inter last week that he wanted to join Chelsea.
After taxes, he is expected to sign a deal for roughly PS200,000 per week.
Lukaku is also on track to surpass Neymar as the most expensive player of all time in terms of total transfer fees.
His new move will put him ahead of the Paris Saint-Germain striker in terms of overall transfer fees, with the Belgian expected to earn PS291 million.
Due to Inter’s financial difficulties, they have already let a number of players go this summer, including Achraf Hakimi and Ashley Young, with Lukaku’s exit on the cards for the time being as the club attempts to balance the books.
Lautaro Martinez has also been linked with a move to Tottenham, with the Scudetto champions losing a number of key players.
Lukaku’s first move, as an 18-year-old, was from Anderlecht to Chelsea for PS17 million, nearly precisely 10 years ago to the day that he returns to SW6.
He then chose to join Everton for PS28 million before joining Jose Mourinho at Manchester United for PS75 million in 2017.
Nevertheless, the Belgian fell out of favor during his second season at Old Trafford, scored his fewest goals in four years, triggering a go to Italy for PS73 million in the summer of 2019 – but he is about to move again.
