Jurgen Klopp The Manager Of Liverpool Has Not Ruled Out Making Late Signings During The Transfer Season 2

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has hinted that they may make more additions before the transfer window ends in order to recapture the Premier League championship.
The Reds have had a quiet transfer window so far, with center defender Ibrahima Konate joining from RB Leipzig for PS36 million.
Liverpool’s championship rivals have been busy in the transfer market recently, with City acquiring Jack Grealish for PS100 million and Tottenham talisman Harry Kane on their radar.
Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp has hinted that the club might still be busy before the transfer window ends. Manchester United has been busy as well, signing Jadon Sancho for PS73 million and Raphael Varane for PS42 million, while Chelsea is close to bringing Romelu Lukaku back from Inter Milan in a PS98 million move.
Despite the dearth of movement, Klopp has stated that he will be satisfied even if no additional business is done, but that’something might happen’ before the window closes.
‘I am extremely delighted with the group, but it doesn’t mean we don’t look in the market,’ Klopp said after Liverpool’s 1-1 friendly tie with Athletic Bilbao at Anfield.
‘But, as long as nothing goes wrong, I am content with the group I have.’
I’m quite pleased with the players I’ve got.
Andy Robertson walked off with an ankle injury on Sunday, giving Liverpool a scare. ‘We have so many things that you cannot sign,’ he said.
You can’t sign our anthem, you can’t sign our counter-pressing, you can’t sign the atmosphere we create in the stadium, you can’t sign Anfield.
‘You can’t sign a lot of things, so we have to use that.’
Other techniques exist, of course, and we have control over them.
It is as it is in our position.
‘We have a big squad and there might be something happening until the conclusion of the transfer window, but I can’t say anything at the moment,’ Klopp said. Andy Robertson suffered a worrying ankle injury against Athletic Bilbao on Sunday, and Klopp may have to bring in cover at left back.
Man City just signed Jack Grealish from Aston Villa for PS100 million. Klopp confessed the incident was ‘quite painful,’ and the Reds’ star left back will undergo a scan on Monday to determine the extent of the injury.
Nevertheless, Liverpool fans believe the club needs to replace Georginio Wijnaldum, who left for Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer, as well as sign a forward to compete with Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah, and Sadio Mane.
The Reds have been connected with players such as Saul Niguez, Federico Chiesa, and Renato Sanches, but have yet to make a signing.
