I Need Roughly Three To Four Weeks More Says Phil Foden On His Recovery From Injury

Phil Foden, a Manchester City midfielder, has stated that he will need “another three to four weeks” to recuperate from a foot injury.
In training ahead of England’s Euro 2020 final against Italy in July, Foden, 21, tore a ligament in his foot.
Both Foden and his club teammate Kevin De Bruyne visited famous surgeon Dr Ramon Cugat this summer to seek specialized advice on their different injury setbacks, according to The Athletic on Tuesday.
Foden, on the other hand, has addressed his issue, telling Sky Sports: “It’s still a little sore, it was such a pity to injure it so close to the Euro final, it was really sad, but I’m working hard in the gym.”
“Hopefully I’ll be able to get back as soon as possible,” he said when asked about a return date. “I’d say around three to four weeks more.”
“Hopefully it will fly by and I will be able to get back out on the pitch as soon as possible,” Foden said after City’s Community Shield defeat to Leicester on Saturday.
City, the reigning Premier League champions, open the season with a match against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday in London.
