For The Second Day In A Row A Labor Strike In Germany Has Disrupted Railway Operations 2

AP National Business BERLIN (AP) — German railway employees are striking for a second day, suspending much of the country’s train operations.
On Thursday, one-quarter of long-distance trains and approximately 40% of regional and local commuter trains were running, according to the German news agency dpa.
GDL members are conducting the work stoppage to highlight their demands for a 3.2 percent salary hike and a one-time “coronavirus bonus” payment of 600 euros ($704).
The demands were denied by Deutsche Bahn, a German train operator.
GDL intends to call off the strike at 2 a.m. on Friday.
